He started programming drum machines at the age of 11. At the age of 16 he sang in a cold wave band called Deadend. He entered electronic music in 1992 and continued in various musical directions such as ethno, chillout, techno, gothic, industrial, rock, moviescore, etc.
He is also a drummer (freelancer), remixer and collaborator with the Juno Reactor project, a pioneer of the Goa trance movement with his projects UX, Syb Unity Nettwerk, and Element Over Nature. Kris has also toured with various bands such as Killing Joke, and remixed various artists such as Juno Reactor, Marilyn Manson, The 69 Eyes, Killing Joke, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Einstürzende Neubauten, Scene Valentine, and many others.
Kris is currently back on his UX i.e. Ultimate Xperience project with a more modern trance sound with live performances and new production like his brilliant latest UX album Lazarus Rising!
