Trance Unity is an unique clubbing program which connects different genres and subcultures of Trance music into a single night journey. Represented are progressive trance, uplifting trance, tech-trance, psy, and sometimes even goa trance.
ponekad i goa trance. These Trance subgenres are often divided into two worlds, i.e. two subcultures, according to stylistic and cultural expressions, one that revolves around the Psy and Goa Trance genres and one that brings together fans of Progressive, Uplifting and Tech Trance.
The merging of these two worlds of Trance, which were previously mostly kept quite separate, creates a wide range of experiences in one night, making a Trance Unity event an expressly eclectic and fun experience!
Brief History
The precursor to the Trance Unity story begins at the end of 2013 when two Slovenian DJs Recruit (Anže Polovič) and AleSH (Aleš Hrastnik) decide to join forces with the Croatian party organization Ministry of Fun and the Croatian Trance DJ Aerial Tribe (Danijel Oršolić) in order to organize a Trance party in Zagreb that symbolically connects two countries, and two different genres of Trance music. The first party was held on December 6, 2013 on the small floor of the Aquarius club, leaving a lasting impression on the organizers and participants.
One of them, Aerial Tribe, decided in early 2015 to revive the program in a new guise with a well-developed concept and strategy that included expanding the concept of merging genres, using inspiring “meme” graphics, and creating a story around upcoming events. The initiative was publicly announced with a proposal in the Trance Family Croatia group, which met with considerable interest. Shortly after, the organization welcomed Dragan Mišukić and Filip Alexandris, passionate fans of the Trance scene, into the organization, and established cooperation with the Gjuro2 association and club, where Trance Unity 2: When The Worlds Collide took place on April 10, 2015. Since this was the first event in the new organization, we also see that day as the first Trance Unity in the form most people know it today.
As the club was full that day, and the energy on the dance floor was almost unprecedented, it was clear that we should continue.
In cooperation with Gjuro2 (G2), we stay for Trance Unity 3 and 4 in Taboo, and 5 in Aquarius, after which in 2016 we enter into cooperation with Močvara for Trance Unity 6, 7, 8, and 9. At the end of 2016, we cooperate with Depo club for the first event in the new year 2017: Trance Unity X (10) where we organized the following 4 events, including spectacular New Year’s Eve 2018.
10 years after the legendary G2 event, we are returning to the scene through the jubilee Trance Unity: Back to The Future (10 Year Anniversary) in Boogaloo on April 11, 2025.
Goals
More than anything, we care about developing a Trance event that not only gives all lovers of this kind of music the opportunity to have fun, dance, socialize and have great experiences, but also to connect the seemingly incompatible, create lasting positive memories, promote positive energy, innovate, and break down barriers. We also want to promote the idea of responsible partying, and leave a positive and lasting impression on the Croatian club scene and beyond, all while dancing to the rhythms and melodies we love!
