Koorie

Igor Đurek, long known on the domestic and wider psy and goa trance scene as Koorie and the founder of the Trance Teleport organization, entered the world of music as a progressive rock fan, and since 2000 he has been interested in ethno sound, especially didgeridoo and aboriginal style. As early as 2003, he started creating his own sound through the production of didgeridoo live performances and collaboration with DJ Dalton. Together they play side by side with famous psy trance names such as Astral Projection, MFG, Power Source, Egorythmia, California Sunshine, PsyShrek, Juggler, Pan Papason, Go Cut, Ludvig, Kamadeva, Billy Aura, Ceberi, Phenotype, Kokmok, and others at famous festivals such as Aurora, Zenith, Future Nature, Future Sound of Zagreb and Astralis and in clubs around the world. With Dalton, he later starts the Psybient project for psychedelic downtempo expression.

He has several original and remixed psy and goa releases for Suburban Sound, Berlin Sensation, Speedsound and Reality Bites, as well as downtempo works for Panmusic Records.

Interestingly, Koorie was part of the lineup of the little-known but significant Trance Tunes One event on March 9, 2012 at the then Cranberry club, which, like today’s Trance Unity, combined uplifting and psy and goa Trance in one night. At that time, he performed with Gogo J. Ready and Sunlab as an interesting live act on drums and didgeridoo. He performed for the first time at Trance Unity on Trance Unity 13: Black Magic.
